Over the past few decades over 4,000 unpublished choral works by composers all over the world have been sent to me for review. I have taken a serious look at each of them. The pieces listed in the Editor's Choice section are among my personal favorites. They are the ones I have chosen to conduct, record and recommend to others. The styles are as varied as can be. Some can be easily performed by high school and college choirs. Others are best taken up by semi-professional or professional choirs. Most importantly, there is something here for everyone.
These specially chosen choral pieces all have the following in common: they are well-crafted and deeply moving. I hope you enjoy getting to know them. Take your time and savor the special qualities of each one. Hopefully you will choose some of these, plus pieces from our general online database, to conduct and to recommend to others.
